Our customers care that we take time to educate on industry insights, what their analytics mean to their business, and most importantly, how we are helping achieve their sales goals.
Not only is Guardian Owl Digital Marketing Certified Google Partners, we have experience managing campaigns under 1 of 18 Google Premier SMB Partner Companies in North America. CEO and Co-Founder
Eric Gunderson is a 25 year advertising veteran, entrepreneur, community activist and chief executive officer of Guardian Owl Digital Boutique. He previously served as president of Gunderson Marketing, providing outsourced consulting services to small businesses across the country, and publisher of Valeo Magazine, a lifestyle publication for medical professionals. Eric graduated from Bradley University with degrees in Communications and Political Science, lettered on the swim team and was president of the Interfraternity Council. He serves as president of the Board of Directors for Grow Smart Louisville, a non-profit, volunteer organization advocating for transparency and communication between project developers and citizens in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. In his “free time”, Eric can be found coaching or driving his daughter and son to and from swim, gymnastics, basketball and numerous other activities. He enjoys rare quiet time with his wife, Jenny, Orange Theory workouts, University of Kentucky basketball, Green Bay Packers football, traveling to new places and an eclectic array of music from John Denver to Fetty Wap. Eric is the official DJ for the Guardian Owl office, much to the chagrin of his co-workers.
Client Success Manager
Always eager to learn, Mandy Jackson is currently earning her second degree in Business Marketing at the University of Louisville to complement her completed BA in Psychology. With experience in promotions, office management, marketing and community leadership, she continues her quest for knowledge through exploration here in the city of Louisville. Ever curious of the different opportunities this city has to offer, she holds multiple positions for companies in Kentucky, including as an Account Manager for Gunderson Marketing, as a Client Success Manager for Guardian Owl Digital Boutique, and as a Promotional Representative for Jim Beam (when weekend schedules permit). When she’s not juggling classes and client meetings, Mandy enjoys watching any University of Louisville sports; especially when it involves tailgating, traveling whether it be local or international, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with her friends.
Client Performance Specialist
Ever since Mary joined the Guardian Owl team, the energy has never been the same. Bringing with her an energized bunny sort of attitude and unique way of operating that stems from her broad background. Mary hails from Danville, Kentucky and graduated from Evansville University in Indiana. She then went on to work in both digital and traditional marketing, but never quite felt at peace with the people and places around her. Finally, she settled on the digital field and found her home at Guardian Owl and a new and improved family of co-workers.
Mary has always been larger than her small-town background. Her worldly views come from many travels around the US, Europe and even Indi. Did we mention she pretty much loves all Asian food? In her free time, Mary travels the country as a competitive dancer and is always on the lookout for new songs to enhance the boogie. Let her know your favorite jam! She might even teach you how to west coast swing! Which apparently is a dance that people do.
Originally from Louisville, Zack hasn’t strayed far from the River City. He is a graduate of Saint Xavier High School in Louisville where he played football and won a state championship in 2009. He then went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Kentucky where he was also Vice President of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
His career started in college as a sports videographer for WLKY-32 (Louisville, KY) and WLEX-18 (Lexington, KY) with aspirations of working his way up to the national stage. However, he decided to forgo the extra two years of school and jump into the world of logistics with Total Quality Logistics for almost three years. His passion for outside sales led him to take on an outside sales role with a local sign company where he worked for a year before coming to Guardian Owl in October 2017.
Zack also claims to be quite the musician. He plays guitar and recently began learning the piano after he received one as a gift. He also had a short stint as a Hip-Hop artist in his teenage years, but had to call it quits when he went to college and officially moved out of his parent’s basement.
Our Resident Goofball here at Guardian Owl is Riley Hook. Riley graduated from DuPont Manual High School, now attends the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and interns with us during the summer. His summers of experience as a lifeguard and Jimmy Johns delivery driver have brought little to the table, but luckily, the whim that we hired him on has paid off. Riley’s willingness to do busy work keeps us focused on caring for clients, and he brings a touch of creativity and rare splashes of brilliance to any projects we let him touch. You can see some of Riley’s handiwork on our YouTube channel or as the cohost of our brand-new podcast.
In his free time you’re likely to find Riley, a classic extrovert and terrified of loneliness, surrounded by peers. He also enjoys playing soccer and fancies himself quite the decent player. Riley is passionate about his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky and everything in it, especially the Cardinal Basketball team. If you see him around town, say hi! His favorite thing is meeting new people and you might even enjoy talking to him!
